What is Fuchu-Yaki?
This type of Okonomiyaki has been loved by residents of Fuchu City (in the Bingo region, east Hiroshima Pref.) since ancient times. Fuchu-Yaki is notable for the use of minced meat instead of pork belly.
The combination of the savoriness of the minced meat with vegetables makes it fluffy inside while the outside is cooked to a crispy finish thanks to the fat of the minced meat.
It is grilled slowly with great care, so it takes a little time to cook.
